Chazwick fucking Bundick.
Let me start this off by just stating I'm huuuuuuuuuge and I mean huge fan of Chazwick Bundick's (Toro Y Moi)music, like creepy huge. It's seriously chillwave at it's absolute best and always has a good groove.
Oddly enough the only reason I ever even heard of them was from a Mashup The Hood Internet did of their song Thanks Vision and... Teach Me How To Dougie, I know. I know. The beat was so nice I just need to find out it was, got my hands on their album Causes of This and my obsession started.
2011's Underneath the Pine...two words, simply amazing. That's it, no other thoughts or feelings on it... just simply amazing. It's a must have, I might even say listen to that album first and Still Sound sets the mood for the entire album. Enough of my ranting just listen to the damn music already. :)
BUT WAIT?!?!!?! I forgot to mention about this side-project Les Sins, it's at the core a dance/disco/daft-punk kind of thing but it's all sorts of a amazing and you should really check it out at the bottom. You're Welcome.
Thanks Vision

Radiohead Rankings
I was waiting for either Johnny or Chimere to post again, but I'll throw something up here. I did this when I was living in Korea, typed it up on Facebook, and have now copied and pasted it here for both of our readers:
Because I'm afraid of connecting my iPod to my Korean iTunes due to risking possible 'syncing', and thus deletion my music, I've not bothered to sample much new music out here.
Case in point: I haven't heard one thing off of The King of Limbs.
I have, however, in recent weeks been playing the rest of my Radiohead catalogue and pretending that the songs I'm least familiar with are the new album. Upon doing this, I felt the need to voice my insignificant opinion on which Radiohead album fits where on my arbitrary listing of their endeavors.
As a numbered list commonly denotes, from favorite to least favorite:
- The Bends
- OK Computer
- Pablo Honey
- Hail to the Thief
- Kid A
- Amnesiac
- In Rainbows*
* Admittedly, I listened to In Rainbows the least, though it probably deserves higher accolades based on the fact that people could initially download it for any price they saw fit.
They all provided me with a great soundtrack to take in the wonders and nuances of the Seoul Metro.
Still haven't heard a note from The King of Limbs.

Expectations
I actually do have an affinity for early to mid-90's grungy, pop kind of stuff. Sponge and Placebo fuck my shit up, but my tastes vary considerably. I've been known to field a playlist with James Brown on one end, and Scandanavian death metal band, Behemoth, on the other.
Mostly I dig songs with conscience. Big fan of early/classic rock and punk. I'm a Dylan head, too. I look for lyrics and novelty. I dig folk, indie, whatever that newer, syth-punk-noise genre is, hip hop, reggae, soul, grunge (yes, I will take frequent trips to flannel land). Not afraid of the singer-songwriters either.
My first recommendation, from Montreal, an indie band called Wolf Parade. The song is titled 'I'll Believe in Anything' and you should only listen to it very, very loudly.
Cheers

Dam the Mainstream
Contrary to what some other contributors have stated, Avenged Sevenfold is not my forte. To be fair, I used to like them until some shitty record executive told them they could sell more records by sounding like a hard Nickelback. Anyway, my musical tastes cover a large range of genres, but my expertise, as it were, is metal. Death metal, thrash metal, groove metal...you get the picture. I also enjoy punk, indie anything, rap (but someone needs to save it cause its really turned to shit, at least the mainstream stuff. However, you can say that about all mainstream music) and anything that's good. I keep an open mind when it comes to new music and I'll give almost anything a chance.
Self promotion time:
I have a twitter account (yep, it's the future people, get over it). Follow me @themightytreez, if you so choose.
Until next time...
My Tendencies
"Indie"
Old School Rap
Synths
80's Rock
90's - 00's Alternative
Anything with a good beat.
All of that above is what you should expect to hear from me while enjoying this page. With that said I'm going to keep it short and sweet with a new Indie Pop group by way of L.A., Wildcat! Wildcat! Enjoy.

Meet and Greet
I blame whatever scourge on the medium and art of music that results from reading our opinions on Chimere. It was all his idea.
While we have much in common when it comes to musical tastes, there are also the glaring differences. I assume we'll try to highlight as much on those as possible so as to offer more distinct flavors of judgement for you, the reader.
You can expect a topical breakdown from the authors of something like this:
Synthesizers and color -- Chimere
90's pop -- me
Avenged Sevenfold -- Johnny
(Caveat: Expectations are subject to not being lived up to)
